Puran Startup Manager is an application that helps you enable or disable the activity of programs when starting Windows.
Choosing which apps to run at Windows startup seems to be the main function of this program. Yet, many tools already have this option in their settings menu. A secondary feature is that of looking for supplementary information about a certain application. This can be done by means of an embedded web search function. I don't know how useful this option might be, since it just shows the possible results of an Internet search; this can be done very well by using your default browser.
Meanwhile, you can verify the digital signature of a specific program; an 'OK' result certifies that the app is valid. Yet, such an answer is not very convincing since you don't know what information stands behind the validation.
To sum up, this program is free, easy to use, and it doesn't take up much of the disk free space. Honestly speaking, I didn't get the relevance of this program; its main functions can be accomplished with other tools already existing on your computer.
- Free application
- Doesn't take up much of the disk free space
- Easy management of programs running at the Windows startup
- Few functions
